This is an article on Projekt Rev. 2008 -- it mentions Josh Freese is part of Ashes Divide (or whatever the typeset is) - he can't be touring with them here, but, ay? I'm thinking Ashes Divide'd have a touring drummer then, yeah? "Charismatic rapper/provocateur Busta Rhymes, pop-rockers The Bravery and quasi supergroup Ashes Divide, which includes A Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel, former Guns 'N' Roses drummer Josh Freese and cellist Devo Keenan, the son of A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan, will also perform on the main stage."
Their live drummer is Jeff Friedl, according to their Myspace profile. So whoever wrote that article probably just looked at the lineup for their album and presumed that was also the band that would be playing live.
I got my copy of The Slip a few days ago. My number is 45,871. The performance videos are awesome. This may not have to do with NIN directly, but I'm like, 99% sure 10 Ghosts II appears in this clip (at the very beginning) from the new Resistance ARG. It's pretty cool to see Ghosts being used... I was waiting for someone to use it somewhere other than like, YouTube...
Oh shit it's released in Australia already... I didn't realise! Man they're gonna all be sold, shit...
"The Fragile", at JB in Westfield in Liverpool, it was f**kin' reduced to $20. And someone else got it before I did. Meanwhile, "The Slip", CD+DVD, is $32.
Well, more specifically, 10 songs that I've already got in HQ. I'd only want "The Slip" in physical 'cause I can't burn my digital copies to a CD. Plus, the DVD seems like something worth bagging. First priority on the to-buy list right now.
Sweet interview up on Q101's website. Trent hints at a possible Year Zero 2 in the works when the interviewer mentions the sci-fi connotations of the tour name. He also discusses the YZ tv show we heard rumors about. And much more. Direct link courtesy of ETS: cliiick
