Now it's out, what do you think? Personally I think it's quite good, but it's not as good as The Fall of Ideals. You can tell Philip's vocal lessons have paid off because his singing voice is a lot better than it's been in the past. (Also I'm sure playing live in support of Ideals took its toll on his voice a little bit.) I think "Two Weeks" might be my favorite song just because it's so different for them, and because it's really, really catchy. Also, I love the Nevermore cover ("Believe in Nothing"); it's amazing.
Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I'll download it once I get home later tonight. If it's even comparable to TFOI, I'll be very happy.
I like Two weeks and forever in your hands. The rest seems pretty meh so far to me. This Darkened Heart is by far their best album.
So far I can't stop listening to it. Maybe it's the excessive use of clean vocals that I find so appealing, because then I can actually sing along.
To be honest, I have NEVER heard them before but they put Chiron and Two weeks from this album on Rock Band and I absolutely love both songs. and they have This Calling as well, which is great also.
