Potential First Previews of LOST IN THE ECHO, IN MY REMAINS and I'LL BE GONE

I quite like where these songs are going. It's well within what we were expecting: Higher energy and less electronics than ETS. But to all those who don't like it, wait until the full song is released. Because when the first 30 second snippet for The Catalyst was released I was all like:

So, in I see, that in LPA there's a hard rule: if you don't fall in blind love in LP, go away!

What I can say: these songs seem to be very dark, and what I really like about the intros, they hit hard. Welcome back, Hybrid Theory.
Can't wait to hear the songs in HQ.

Can't wait. I found Burn it Down to be the bland-ish poster-child single that it was bound to be. Not bad, but not great. LGM was better, though.

Try not to skip the ATS era on your way out cause you sure as hell didn't go past it on your way in.

 

If that really is In My Remains, I'm ready to hear the full song. Knew there was a reason that title stood out to me since day one. Not impressed with Lost In The Echo... I feel like I'm listening to the beginning of a Pitbull song with some guitar for good measure, but it's only a clip so I'll reserve complete judgement. I'll Be Gone is LPish to me, pretty exciting.

Woah, best movie EVER???? How come I've never seen it? What is the name of this movie so I can download it? (seriously)

Anyway, the first impression on LT after hearing BID, LGM and these snippets is that LP are not aiming high like with ATS and that the production is very home-made like... back in the day HT and Reanimation were the best produced stuff in the world, but this sounds like it was made with a Fruity Loops

 

It's your opinion if you like their older stuff better. That's perfectly fine. Some people like their newer stuff more, and some think M2M is their best album. That's the power of LP. But don't pull the omg why cant they go back to "Normal instruments", because it's been exhausted and beat to death. That argument doesn't carry any weight. What makes their older sound "better"? What does better even mean? You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what LP is about. They will continue to push themselves creatively and musically. There is nothing exciting to them about recycling the same sound over and over. They don't give a fuck what people think about that, either, which they shouldn't. Now stop being an annoying 12 year old kid.

I think the actual rule is that until you learn how to correctly and professionally criticize music, keep your mouth shut. It helps you not look so stupid.
