Buttermilk (Milk) is also featured in Mall. Just watched it today, starts off awesome as fuck, but loses its bright in the end. Still, Joe has some extremely good direction work in this movie. Ammosick is the shit. Buttermilk is here for those who want to listen to it: https://soundcloud.com/jackfarrell/linkin-park-a-thousand-suns-demos
Samples of ATS demos that they released for StageLight. At 3:46 starts Sample from Trailer Song called "Luna". At 3:55 starts Milk (Buttermilk) which sounds very similliar to "Terrified" chorus, doesn't it?
Hey guys, today's the MTV feature on LP, so if you can check it out, go for it. Also, remember this?
Correct. Though "Terrified" (that track is called White Noise) was developed much later, around 2013.
LPU 13 is beautiful. When you first listen to Brad and UIB, its cool but on Three Band Terror, his voice actually sounds really soft and nice (IMO, of course). Wish, he did more stuff like that. Cumulus, Holding company, Pretty Birdy, Primo all are so good. Its frustrating because its kinda wasted potential (although technically not I guess, since we got to hear it). I'm just randomly posting an opinion that's kinda said here a million times before just because. But, it seems like the band kinda under-utilize themselves though. Especially Pheonix. Wish he'd change his mind a little .
Are there any photoshop skilled people here? I would need some help. Basically, I want to make a poster out of Hybrid Theory cover, but I don't have a big enough photo for it. I need something like this: Someone? Anyone?
Yeah, in a recent interview for Loudwire, Joe said that he and the other members of the band worked on some songs for the movie, resulting in three songs with vocals [but we heard at least four or even five, even that one of them was with "Donna" lyrics and other with "the first line" and things like that in the lyrics] and some instrumentals. Maybe Buttermilk is one of them. The video itself. Joe talks about it in 1:53:
A lot of "Mall" press lately and a lot of questions about the music from journalists, but no confirmation one way or another about a release for the soundtrack
http://cms.bassplayer.com/artists/1171/dave-farrell-and-linkin-park-return-to-their-roots/48660 Really interesting article. If you read it, Dave kinda talks about changing his style too: ____ Hmmmm.
The person writing that article doesn't seem to realize that there is nearly no prominent bass in THP
