    Even though snow is on the ground right now, this weekend we are finally going to get into the mid 50's. That means a whole mess of outside projects need to start happening. Some of them I'm excited for, while others, not so much...

    One Year with LPA

    Yesterday, March 25, 2013, marked the first year anniversary of my time here in LPA. I remembered when I got into the band, I also turned to you guys for news that even LP's official website couldn't deliver in time. I also recalled lurking around at the subforums and laughing at the jokes you guys pull off at each other. I was astounded at your massive knowledge of the band and your general intelligence about the world. I knew I couldn't resist joining you guys, so I made this account with the name "Philsfan", which pretty much shows my lack of originality (Phils is an abbreviated version of Philippines, where I live). And in this previous year, this is what I've accomplished with the LPA:

    *I've become friends with many prominent LPA users and administrators.
    *I participated in the buildup to an album release.
    *I started a conversation in the shoutbox which became one of minuteforce's installments in the "Legendary Shoutbox Quotes" (The Last Revelation)
    *I provided a source that eventually ended up as news (Ok, it's just saying that "Burn It Down" will be played at the AMAs, but it still counts. :p)
    *My sense of humor has dramatically increased.
    *I'm no longer shy talking to others.
    *No infractions :D
    *I became more open to other music.
    *My knowledge in Linkin Park grew.
    *I felt at home even though I've never personally met any of you guys.

    To Derek, Joe, Omar, Ree, Minus, Louis, minuteforce, Liz, Amanda, Zak, Keaton, Todd, Sarah, Hybrid, Kevin, Jeff, Zane and the rest of the LPA members, thank you for the great memories and good times we had this past year, and may we have more memories in the years to come. :D
