our last snow day was actually a COLD day, -42 celcius (with the windchill). Yeah, for us to get a snow day it has to be AT least 30 cm (15 inches??) or so...if it snows at night that much and there's a enough time to plow the roads, then its no snow day....I wish I was in the US....an inch and they cancel EVERYTHING....wussies j/k
I'm glad it didn't happen. I want to get my stupid exams done and over with. One more day of studying is one more day of stress and pain. Get my drift?
It snowed last night....froze everything over...and yet our school doesnt give us a delay or anything, so I just didnt go to school. Went to Jenn's house and played Sims for 3 hours.
here in Rocklin we dont get either snow or ice. We get rain. IT SUCKS!!! I wish we got snow more offen. We get snow MAYBE 1 a year. Non sticking.
Snow day? In Minnesota? One can hope, but it's NOT HAPPENING HERE! Last day I can remember off school: air temp was -20 Fahrenheit. Wind chill: -80 Fahrenheit. That was about eight years ago. But the heat at my school hasn't been working properly, so if it fails again, they're closing school down until it's all fixed.
Last night, it practically rained ice. I woke up this morning and everything was frozen over. I flipped on the TV and waited a few minutes and saw that my school was closed. Needless to say, I went back to bed for 5 more hours. I expect school to be closed tomorrow as well.
