Kim is just him screaming about his ex-wife with a beat. It's not that great.
Eminem really comes across well live; probably due to backing tracks or whatever, but he comes across like he does on an album, while other rappers will lose whatever nuance they had on a studio recording by yelling all the time on-stage.
QFT. Furthermore, I think people tend to give SSLP/MMLP more credit because a lot of them grew up with those two albums. So nostalgia plays a pretty big part.
I don't even think it's backing tracks. He's just amazing. The dude just dominates the stage, holy shit.
Haha, I just listened to "Kim" for the first time in years, I can't believe I still know all the words to it. I was a HUGE Eminem fan, not so much right now. I hated Relapse but I do like Recovery though.
New leak with B.O.B., I'm not sure it makes much sense because it sounds like '09 Em, when Bobby Ray was still a little underground, maybe he got on it later. Not my favorite song, but it's interesting. http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.13982/title.eminem-f-bob-things-get-worse-prod-eminem
I used tio listen to his songs and go to people like ' Eminem is so amazing, have you listened to him ? his songs is so woww' and i was 11 or 12 and people look like '' and then later i realized later they were censored on the radio ,i liked them so much but had regret when i got older..but his rapping is good anyway
http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.14004/title.eminem-ballin-do-me New song that's all Em, but is definitely some sort of reference track or something, Em doesn't really talk about cars and stuff like that.
2 New songs, one with Obie Trice, one where he goes at Wang, and supposedly Hov and Ye. http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.14020/title.eminem-f-obie-trice-emulate http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.14015/title.eminem-goat-jay-z-and-kanye-west-diss
Hmm Eminem was one of my favourite rappers back in the days. His best work is still 'Slim Shady LP'. Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show and Enocroe were also very good masterpieces. The albums he did with D12 were also very great and his old demo's were cool. I have a copy of Infinite in original state, with extra tracks for 20 euro's . But Relapse and Recovery were just dissappointed to me and it is not Eminem anymore, there are good tracks on those albums, but not much. When I heard Love The Way You Lie, it dissappointed me too much and those artists he worked with....just no... That isn't for Eminem.. Only song of Relapse, which is my favourite, which I can appreciate is Beautiful ^^. I wish Em was more like how he sounds on his latest track with Dre: I Need A Doctor, cause that track was awesome. Em's part on Drake's Forever is also the only part of the song which is worth listening...
New Eminem featuring Slaughterhouse (one of my fav rap crews out now) & Yelawolf - http://hulkshare.com/n2qgmecds76p
Broski those songs are by the same producer, and kinda the same flow! And Agent0 I heard that one, its pretty nice, I like the crew concept, kinda like how he did the song Encore with Dre and 50. Also a few 'new' old tracks: http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.14044/title.eminem-f-d12-going-crazy http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/singles/id.14021/title.eminem-i-get-money-rmx
Yeah but still, Recovery was a bit more different, cause Em has more songs about his life and yeah, that is a lil bit returning in I Need A Doctor, that track is genius and shows Dre's comeback, even thugh it sounds more like a song of Em's...
