    It is. When you think about it, it may be as important as marriage equality but think of guys who are in prison. Their lives ruined over pot possession. How stupid is that? That's their life and our tax dollars.

    Guess that's a good start. I don't know much about politics, so I'm not sure how to word my next question. How soon will other states be able to let citizens vote on ballot measures similar to Washington and Colorado's? Another 4 years, or only 2?

    Measures can be put on a ballot any year. So it could be as early as next year.

    Yeah seems like MJ was on the ballot every year for a while but it just wasn't getting the publicity it needed to pass. Once it was brought to a larger audience I had no doubts. As for us I think at the very least civil unions will be soon to follow. We' re getting to be a pretty gay state.
