I typed up and sent in a lengty "mini-article" about the two songs leaking to the access section of nin.com I didn't save it, but in a nutshell, I told him many fans I've talk ed to that have heard it say they want the album more than ever. Also, I basically pleaded for him not to get to upset and do something drastic, like push the release date back. I know he won't answer it, but what do I care.
After much signal manipulation I toned down the music enough to hear his voice pretty clearly. Here's what I transcribed. Corrections are welcome but after a billion listens I'm sure it's 97% right. I corrected them even more. I think this is 100% correct. You can tell because the words flow more with the syllables he's saying (That's how I figure out words I can't understand quite well).
Edit: DONE! Only unsure about the one line at the beginning of the 2nd verse. The Line Begins to Blur sounds amazing, I hope that in the final cut of it, the distortion isn't louder than Trent's voice though, it seemed kinda weird to have distortion louder than the vocalist. Other than that, the chorus and the end sounded sweet as hell. I just need to find The Hand That Feeds now.
It's being said that the "The Line Begins To Blur" isn't a pre-production or demo. It's the final cut. Of course, I could be wrong, but I wager it sounds x1000 better on CD. EDIT: I think he says heart instead of hard. Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be..
It seems kinda weird though, you cant really make out much of what Trent is singing. I read somewhere that Trent said he hated Pro Tools and that Perfect sound that it produced, maybe he was aiming to make this song sound odd. Im just guessing though lol.

Oh my fucking god... These are wonderful. When I read the first post about them leaking, I got dizzy... But yeah...I prefer The Line Begins to Blur...but I'm sure they'll both sound better on CD...and like Casey I'm going to refrain from downloading the whole album...suspence is good.

I'm hoping it sounds better and even if it doesn't, I hope the whole CD doesn't sound that raw.
Over on another board, there's two theories about "The Line Begins To Blur". One: - The vocals are supposed to sound distance, because it signifies how Trent was held up in a studio for 5+ years. Two: - It is indeed not the final mix.

"Inside you're hard, it is black it is hollow it is cold" meaning inside yourself. or... "Inside your heart, it is black it is hollow it is cold" which doesn't make that much sense to me with your or you're.

He likes to fuck things up with Protools. Look at Mr. Self Destruct, the weird, suffocating noise on Hurt, and 10 Miles High. He's supposedly an "industrial artist". That means you take things used for one purpose and switch it around to fit something else. To BuriedxTragedy: Trent did say it would be raw. Listen to "And All That Could Have Been". The vocals are super weird when he says "maybe I'll dissapear".

The new songs are so awesome. It's too bad my "Hand That Feeds" is bad quality but nonetheless it sounds amazing.
