They cut out the last bit of the livevideo where chester says ''THERES YOUR FUCKING HYBRID THEORY now shut the ..... (fuck up presumably)''
I know the hive mind here thinks the heavy version of heavy was laughably bad... but I kind of felt it to be honest. I don't want them to go back to that style, but I didn't hate what I heard. Whats important is that they make the music that they want to make. And clearly based on the attitude in the room they are past that style. I can dig it.
Unless you're talking about that OLD LP STYLE HEAVY cover that's floating around, I don't think many here would find what they did in the rehearsal laughably bad..
If this happens, I hope the breakdown is like "Holding, why is everything so heavy? Why is everything so heavy? Why is-why-is-why-is-why-is everything so heavy? HOLDING O-O-ON *randomly high pitched*: HOLDING!!!!! HOLDING-HOLDING-DRAGGING- HOLDING, SO HEAVY!"
No I was referring to the nu metal version that was played as part of the rehearsal. I'm too lazy to quote but there are comments in this thread that are opposed to it. I was just saying by no means am I a nu-metal revivalist, but that version they cranked out on short notice kind of jammed ( even if it was Linkin Park doing an impression of Linkin Park.) Also I've lurked and commented on these boards long enough to know that the regulars here love hybrid theory for what it was but they respect the band more for broadening their horizons and playing the music that they want to play. That's all I was saying.
What/who is that face? I've figured out you use it for general sarcasm but I've otherwise never known what it means
These videos are effing hilarious, man They should sample , "There's your Hybrid Theory" ahaha the heavy version sounds like Papercut. LOL
I finally listened to these videos. I NEED THAT REGGAE VERSION NOW Sounds like Limp Bizkit, although they have never been good.
I fucking lost it when Mike repeated the line with the super monotone voice. I'm so excited for this band to deliver 9 new songs in May. I need some LP music now!!!!
Read this like "huh, that sounds an awful lot like my tweet." Opens my twitter - hundreds of messages. What have I done. Someone is going to send me a letter bomb hidden inside a Limp Bizkit cd any day now
Wow, that nu metal version was intense though Also, I think it's pretty safe to say LP 8 is gonna be a reggae album, having a "Yah" at the end of each song title.
