Joe has directed every LP video since Papercut sans Faint and Given Up. He came up with the idea for One Step Closer, but did not direct it.

I see. So Joe likes to use his effect, he also likes Mike to over do his singing. LOL
New Divide is one of their best videos.

Also, super excited for the Iridescent video. (there shouldn't be anyone doubting this will be a music video sooner or later)[/QUOTE]
Iridescent wil be an vid cause it was said so on a sticker (or how do you say it in englishxD). and that sticker was put on my album wich I preoderd at lp.com

ooh and there were 3 singles noticed at that sticker The Catalyst, WFTE and Iridescent
... so that makes sense right?
    EDIT
I am talking about that sticker:sweating:

The last single should be When They Come For Me...or Burning In The Skies. But I really want WTCFM to be a single...

exactly. For example, Limp Bizkit has a new single coming out whenever one is decided..they said they want to release "Douchebag" but Interscope wants to release a different one but the band is still trying to stay with "Douchebag"..so its definetly the labels choice for singles unfortunately...i bet u the band didnt want "The Catalyst" to be released first..but they had to say "yes sir" to Warner.

On my own note, im actually excited for this video...and from the 30 second preview, it looks to be another trippy one...cant waitt!!! =)

I thought that they said "The Catalyst" could show how they change and how the sound should be nearly like on ATS?

Yes, I think Linkin Park has some say but, ultimately its up to Warner. If you recall on the Making of Documentary, they were trying to decide on what would be the first single.

the preview clip looks awesome so far.

What I like about it most is how well it (the visuals) fit with the song itself. So spacy, yet beautiful. Though that was the soft part of the song I wonder how Mike's verses will be portrayed?

Breaking the habit was by far the best LP video. Anyway, I wish they would do a video driven by a story - I hope they will for Iridescent - we can't just see the guys sing, the song is so powerful it has to get a deep background and great effects. The video looks cool for WFTE, It's the first time they use that kind of effects...

Henry's right. The band did want The Catalyst. WB were pressuring them to pull a "WID" and write a radio-friendly song for lead single to sell the album. The band stuck to their guns.

The second part of that can only be an assumption. As far as I'm concerned there's not really any evidence to support it.
