What movies did you recently watch?

Watch the original War of the Worlds. Same thing.

 

I've seen it, trust me. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. But there was no focus on some guy and his daughter. It was just some guy wandering around, really. Also, they completely left out the part with the church and that was one of my favorite parts of the original movie. I guess I just don't like remakes very much. I hated it.

 

Speilburg didn't make it as a remake of the old movie, he did it as his modernized adaptation of the book.

 

Well, I didn't know that. But, with me, once I see the original movie, I can't appreciate movies that are either remakes or... adaptations as it were.

 

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: 8/10

Only because the beginning was rushed.. and they cut out the quidditch world cup tournament. C'mon! You can't show us the REALLYCOOLSTADIUM and then expect us to be all, "eh, who cares about the match. On with the movie!"

..yeah, I know, they had to cut a lot out to keep it short [enough], but still.

Omg--I loved it! It was fuckin kickass. I can't believe me 'n my brother never seen it before then. lol Definitly one of the best movies I've ever seen.
