    Youth In Revolt - 8/10

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, another classic typecast role for Michael Cera.

In fairness that's one film where he probably spends nearly as much of his screen time playing against type as he does being typical Michael Cera. Not that I have a problem with that in the first place.

Well, I didn't say he was playing against type for the whole film so of course. :p

It's not that big a deal anyway. He's just one of the latest in a very long line of comedy actors who've used pretty much the same schtick in most of their film work, especially early in their careers.

true true, I'm really curious to see what kind of roles he's going to get 10, 20 years from now if he's still acting.

^ Diddy totally owns in that movie

Just watched 13 Assassins (2010) it's a remake of 1963 film with the same name. It certainly feels old school just in color, no flashy bullshit, just raw Samurai action based on a true event. It's starts really slow and builds up like most Japanese movies. I think I'll give it a 7.5/10

    The Eagle - 1.5/5
Channing Tatum for a lead was a terrible choice to begin with but no actor could have made this movie interesting.

Channing Tatum is a bad choice for any lead. But that's just my opinion.

Fast Five - Excellent movie. One of the best in the series. The only thing keeping it down is Paul fuckin' Walker. What a horrible actor. Almost as bad as that Lucas Black guy from Tokyo Drift. Also loved seeing more love for Han. Props to Justin Lin for giving Asian American actors non-typical roles. Hell, props for giving an Asian American actor a role at all.

And that's one thing that was always an issue with the original movies in the series. WE were the youths that brought illegal street racing and car modding to the popularity it attained, and we're NOWHERE in the movies. Sickening. Almost as sickening as all that horrible vinyl fucking up the look of some classic cars.

Blue Valentine - Great movie, amazing acting, but God. DEPRESSING AS SHIT.

    Pan's Labyrinth - 7/10

The story felt really lacking. As always with Guillermo, the effects were awesome.

    The Green Hornet - 7/10

Had some good funny lines from Seth Rogan, Jay Chou as Kato was pretty awesome. Loved seeing Edward Furlong in a movie again, since Terminator 2 is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'd probably never watch this movie again though, it was just alright.

    Thor - 4/5

Nowhere near as good as Iron Man, but I suppose it's not a terrible adaptation of Thor. It focuses a lot on effects and not so much on story or character development. Actually, it's TERRIBLE on character development, but yeah...
