Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger's Tide (2011) - 3/5
Not the biggest Pirates fan so I went in with zero expectations and I quite enjoyed it! Good mix of action, adventure and humor.

    The Inbetweeners Movie - 9/10

    [thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/The_Inbetweeners_Movie.jpg[/thumb]
This is such a funny movie and a great ending to the whole series. I'm a big fan of the show so I'm sad to see it all end. :(

    Attack the Block (2011) - 5/5
Hands down one of my favorite films of the year. I can just see myself watching it over and over again over the years. Classic in the making. Btw, this shits on Super 8.

^What the hell. I remember seeing the trailer for that awhile ago and it did look like a cool story. Now that I check IMDB it says it only got a limited release in the US. I'm gonna have to find this online tonight and check it out.

Watched Attack the Block, it's really good. The only problem is how it ended. I wanted the story to continue and it ended so abruptly.

^ How did it end abruptly? Moses killed the aliens. End of story. [/spoiler]

Travz: The dvd rip is out. That's how I watched it.

The Social Network - Good Movie, though the plot had me lost at certain points.
I am Number Four - Awesome, though the ending came too abruptly.

    Super (2010) - 2/5
It was a pretty disappointing watch. The tone of this film was all over the place. It tried to be a dark comedy but it really didn't work out. Whenever it inclined towards being realistic something in the plot made it the exact opposite. At the end of the watch I was left pretty confused as to what the film was really trying to say. It suffered from lack of focus and felt all over the place, which is too bad because I was really looking forward to it and it looked awesome from every aspect starting from cast to director to trailer.

    Bridesmaids (2011) - 1.5/5
I thought this movie would be edgy as fuck and would break the norm of chick-flicks being cheesy. But nah! All the edginess went outta the window after the first hour and it fell right back to the bland, predictable, cheesy romcom territory. What a waste.

Knowing - 5/5 - An epic apocalyptic story. I was thinking ATS would work as the soundtrack. :awesome:
    Jonah Hex - 3/5 - Really good.

The Art Of Getting By (5/10) - Movie is pretty slow and pretty predictable, at least Emma Roberts is hot.

Rango (?/10) - To be honest, I enjoyed it a lot, but I kinda passed out on my futon so I missed about half the movie. I wasn't bored, that just tends to happen when I'm lying down, watching a movie. That's why I'm not giving it a rating yet.

The Spirit (7/10) - I thought it was pretty enjoyable for the most part. I liked how stylish the movie was, and the dark setting. It reminded me of a comic book. Seeing Eva Mendes naked is also a plus. The acting could have been better though, and the fight scenes were a bit lackluster.

    New World Order (2009) (Documentary)
Fascinating look into the lives of conspiracy theorists, how they operate, what their missions are. Interesting and crazy.

    Requiem for a Dream (2000) - 5/5
Calling it a classic would be an understatement. Absolutely gut-wrenching yet amazing.

    Green Lantern (2011) - 2/5
Pretty cliched and predictable. I dug some of the action scenes although there weren't enough of them. But what brings this movie down is the formulaic plot and characters.

Drive - (7/10) This movie is very inappropriately named, it's a very weird very anti-hollywood artsy indie feeling movie. A lot of dull awkward moments juxtaposed with intense graphic violence. I'd check it out on DVD when it comes out.

I think that "Drive" in the title means what "drives" characters to their actions.

Ah that makes more sense, I had no idea what this movie was about going into it. I just heard that it was good and oscar worthy so I went and watched it.

    Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon (2011) - 3/5
Michael Bay, you are not funny! You use your weird brand of humor in the most awkward times possible! It's lazy, cheesy and predictable!

With that said, I thought the action sequences were mind-blowing! That's the only thing I enjoyed about this film.
