As a Linkin Park fan, who feels overwhelmed with all these sponsorships, fan clubs, performances, concerts, interviews, and etc? Once I knew, a few weeks ago, that LP was teaming up with Dell and Music OS to create a super computer I was extatic. Today... I don't even have the money to be thinking about getting it. Now today, after Mike Shinoda revealing that LPU members get bonus sounds and beats, I just felt overwhelmed with all this. ITS TOO MUCH Who else feels the same way?

I think he just means it's all a bit much to follow since everything is getting thrown at us quite quickly. Like, I mean just counting three things an LP fan would want to buy, ie. LT album, concert tickets, and the LP customized computer, the bill will be very expensive. I don't feel overwhelmed, I just feel like I wish I was rich.
Maybe I should have clarified. I don't feel like I'm being sufficated with all these LP stuff, it just makes me feel like gosh, I want this I want that, you know? You want all these things as a fan to collect and go back and remember but sometimes, certain situations prevents you from doing so. It is a personal feeling and was just wondering if anyone else felt this way.
I gave up around the time they released a Linkin Park coffee table book. Being a fan of such a... I guess we'll call it "prolific" band would be quite grating for a serious collector like that.

That is kind of the point of all this. If anyone out there cares about Linkin Park enough to consider investing in a laptop for their sounds then it is there for them. Warner Bros. want you to buy the stuff so they get money out of it. People who want the stuff, buy the stuff. Simple. If you don't want it then ignore it.
I can sympathize. It's a lot of odd stuff in one place, and while this is the sort of thing Linkin Park does time and time again - it gets bigger and bigger with every album cycle. It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed by everything.
The day I will finally feel overwhelmed is when they finally come back to Louisiana! Until that happen, I'll just seat here to eat my popcorn!
I wouldn't bother buying the computer because there's nothing Linkin Park on it, just some software and sounds (I'm no music genius so they wouldn't be very useful to me). If the thing had a freaking awesome LP customized exterior and was loaded with the LPU released music and stuff like that I would've been drooling, but when I saw it was just an ordinary-looking laptop I just went meh. Only thing I want right now is to finally join LPU and get money so I can travel overseas and see them, I'm not gonna waste my time waiting for them to "come to my town" .. And as for the rest of the LP related stuff coming, well, it's about promotion I guess, it gets pretty intense around album release dates..
