It'll probably sell for an insanely high price. So high infact, that the person who wins will have to be, in my opinion, stupid to pay up. The person selling it believes it will go above 500 dollars. That's what? Over 100 dollars a track? It may be rare, but that's ridiculous.
In the past, the Xero tape has sold for thousands. I'm not surprised. They're so rare. *moves* ProEdge, stuff like this belongs inthe appropriate forums.
Ha. In my opinion it's completely stupid to pay that much money on something like that, although maybe that's just because I'm not a collector. I just don't understand the need to pay so much money for songs which can so easily be downloaded for nothing.
Well you do have a point but then again you said yourself that you're not a collector. If you're only interested in the music itself then yeah, something like this doesn't mean much. I guess this is just for hardcore fans that like to collect rare stuff.
As a collector, I've seen the price fluctuate, depending on how/when/where it's being sold. The last few listed on eBay have either been sold at a high price or the auction has been pulled because the seller couldn't actually verify having one (using pics of the tape from fansites). One was also sold privately recently at a much lower price than the 'market' price as one collector was selling off his collection.............. The bidding should get interesting on it.
I've just noticed that it's at $41 and the reserve's not been met. The seller obviously wants a bit of dinero for it haha.
Well Mark was mentioning that it has gone up to a thousand before so I doubt $41 is remotely close to what the seller is looking for.
If you check the bid history, it WAS at $41 for awhile. Subsequent bids have raised the current price significantly.
its a tape! why on earth will anyone pay more than 500 dollers for it!?!?!?! thinking of that why would someone buy it for more than 5 dollers i mean come on - who listens to tape now-a-days?
I saw that the other day on my weekly 'linkin park rare' ebay search.I was going to bid, but hahninator bid on it before me.
Guy is a fool anyways. He's willing to accept Paypal on this auction when its so easy to get scammed out of cash with that. Hell I was taking a risk accepting donations through it for this site. Thank god everyone here was trustworthy and didnt scam me as I was trying to buy vBulletin.
