Can somebody name me all of the Xero songs? Im trying to download them, but I need to know what their called. Appreciate your help!
stick n move rhinestone fuse reading my eyes thats the four 'common' tracks floating around. but i did hear there was a live set that xero played and they did 7/8 tracks? i dont know their names - even if i did im pretty sure there wont be studio versions of the tracks that are missing
Demo tape songs: Rhinestone Reading My Eyes Fuse Stick N' Move Songs from a live set in 1997: Explode The Team Rhinestone Part 2 Esaul Song Mike confirmed as a Xero title: Pictureboard The 4 from the demo tape are the only 4 you'll find though.
"pictureboard" - or perhaps it's 2 words - was also comfirmed somewhere to have been a track cut off for the band's EP in 1999.
No it wasn't. Mike mentioned it once, in one post on the FM messageboards...all he said was that it was a Xero song that they performed once live after Chester joined the band, and it's the only Xero song they ever did with Chester.
Played once live. Back in 2000 from what I've heard. The others, The Team is allegedly an early Carousel, Explode is supposedly an early Part of Me, Rhinestone Pt. 2 is Stick N Move, and from the forums I found it on...I'm guessing that Untitled was actually Esaul.
The setlist had Untitled and Esaul both in it I believe, actually. But Untitled obviously wasn't In the End, because In the End doesn't list Mark as one of the songwriters. If you look in the HT booklet, I think it's like 4 or 5 songs that list Mark Wakefield as one of the writers, meaning those songs existed as far back as Xero in some form. Runaway's guitar riff came from Stick N' Move and Forgotten is the final version of Rhinestone, are the 2 obvious ones.
So Untitled is a completely different song. Ok. That works. Lol. So then, is their yet another demo of Carousel and Part of Me that have Mark on em and not Chester? Which, while we are on that topic, I like the Part of Me demo with Chester way better than the final.
even with a p2p file sharing program its still hard to find xero songs..i still havent listened to any of em yet, i want to though
I would like to hear Xero's Esaul. It's changed so many times while they were Linkin Park. How many versions is there? 3 and a live studio demo?
Yeah, one from the old HT.com website, one from a 2-track demo, one from a 9-track demo, and the live demo off Frat Party.
Since he said old HT.com I'm guessing it's no longer in working order. I tried ht.com and hybridtheory.com to no avail.
You can get to the old HT site through webarchives: http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21709 Stuff about it in that thread. The song downloads and stuff don't work though, obviously.
