Let Down was the second and final official single released by Dead By Sunrise. The song got notoriety before being released on the album due to Chester performing the song acoustically as far back as September 10th 2005 at a ReAct Now benefit Concert in Nashville, Tennessee. The song was advertised as just "Chester Bennington" and featured Ryan and Amir on guitar, who later became members of Dead By Sunrise.

Despite being well known and a potential radio hit, due to lack of promotion the single failed to chart in any major listings.

The song actually spawned two videos, however one was never released because it didn't fit the song and Chester didn't like it. This version involved a half naked Chester singing the lyrics as effects manipulated a CGI black sheet reacting to the song, which modestly covered Chester as the song progressed. Instead, the final video directed by P. R Brown was released November 13th 2009 and featured the band performing the song amongst a lot of transitional effects taken from the album art for Out of Ashes.
